They were called circle games, a lovely response to square or line dancing. One of the most popular involved a dog, B – I – N – G- O, and Bingo was his name o! This is likely my sister’s MCI grad party. There are one or two poems about this event in boy (Hagios 2012). I would have been five or six, my sketchy memory aided by this photograph, and my imagination.
