SALVAGE

I started cleaning my office this afternoon and was distracted by an old grocery list in my “IN” basket that also serves as my “OUT” basket. I swore I’d never publish a grocery list, such a tired old trope, but here’s one anyway.

I don’t throw  enough stuff away, and have a file called “salvage” on my hard drive for bits and pieces, garbage really. I review it every couple of months just in case some of it has turned from peelings to compost rich enough to grow a new poem.

Back to more cleaning. Anyone else just box everything after winnowing it for tax receipts, date it, then throw it into a closet?
