For my Valentine

COURAGE[1]fox 2 5281751478_c3fb3dc5f0_z

i)

It has started
to snow.

The road through
the park, is icy.

A fox, caught
in the headlights

drifts into the forest
taking my fear

into the darkness.

ii)

I once was
a lover

the snow
a brilliant idea

for angel
to sleep on.

iii)

You cross
the thousand mile ocean

the sun at your back. Winter
takes your breath away

You choose a Husky
at the pound.

iv)

You were once
a loverocean 1 10282747374_47d208ce72_z

the sea
a brilliant idea

for the moon
to sleep on.

v)

You wash our sheets,
our beautiful scars.

We are lovers
once, again.
