LETTER B

LETTER B – Some Assembly Required

B

A bass drum. A basement. A {dirty} bed. A boo boo. Boom.
“Every body does it, everybody boom booms down.”  [1]

Balance:          Hard to keep, says Mr. Wobbles, teetering on one leg.
                         Falls Loss.

Beans:             Original Heinz brown beans served with bangers and mash.

Belly:              What stands now between me and you.

Beauty:            The name of the horse in the barn.

Blake:              Nobodaddy’s bellyache.

Blizzard:         A blinding white storm cleaner than a shroud sleeps one

Breathe:          Calm and serene. Hard to grasp when I aspirated my dinner.
Calm and serene, now that’s over.

BREATHING MY PAIN[1] WITH A SIGH

“As long as you are breathing there is more right with you than wrong with you.” Jon Kabat Zinn

“What’s the secret of life? Always breathe.” Christopher Durang.

Dad holds a piece of three-ply against the side of the brown and white Jersey cow.

He hits the piece of wood with a hammer hard, and often, until the cow
unsteadily gets to her feet. Big Dave Mclean sings with a throat full of gravel
and whiskey “You Gotta Move.”

I lie on my side, breathing.
